A whisper among the masses

After two years of contemplating whether or not a blog of this nature is a worthwhile venture, I've chosen to take the plunge. I can't say exactly why I have chosen this time in my life to begin writing down thoughts in a public way, except that I see more benefit for myself in this now than ever before. That's right, when it comes down to it I'm a selfish prick.

I'm also hoping that throwing things down on a blog will foster a bit of conversation among those I live life with, both friends and family. Maybe you all can slap me in the face from time to time to get me thinking straight again.

This blog will be a staging point for various diatribes on:


1. The Creator and His incredible mystery,

2. The strangeness and beauty of grace,

3. World affairs and other temporal musings,

4. Reflections on the comings and goings of those that I interact with,

5. Various observations on a wandering journey toward Truth.


Please comment on my drivel as you see fit. I desperately need insight from people who know more than me, and that includes all of the people I hold dear.
